Nutrition Support for Autoimmune Conditions
Real food strategies for flares, energy, and inflammation.
Autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto's, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and psoriatic arthritis all respond differently to food. I help you find what actually affects your symptoms, alongside your specialist, not instead of them.

This is nutrition support and does not replace care from your specialist.
Why this is hard to figure out alone
- You've read a dozen "anti-inflammatory diet" lists that all contradict each other.
- Flares feel unpredictable, and you're not sure if food is even part of it.
- You're tired of cutting out foods with no real plan or evidence behind it.
A different starting point
Autoimmune conditions vary enormously, so there's no single "autoimmune diet" that works for everyone. Instead, the Fuel-First Method starts with what's already known to support your immune system and energy, protein, fiber, and enough of the right nutrients, then narrows in on your specific triggers through your history and symptoms, not a generic elimination list. We build sustainable nutrition alongside your rheumatologist, endocrinologist, or specialist, not instead of them.
Built around your real life
Built around your condition
Whether it's Hashimoto's, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or another autoimmune condition, your plan reflects your specific diagnosis, not a one-size-fits-all list.
Real evidence, not trends
Protocols like AIP get used correctly and only when there's a real reason to, not by default.
Nutrition through flares
A focus on staying nourished and managing energy, even when symptoms are unpredictable.
Works with your specialist
Fits alongside your rheumatologist, endocrinologist, or GI specialist, not instead of them. If gut symptoms are part of your picture too, we address those as well.
Everything built into your plan
A Personalized Plan

I've been where you are
I lost 60+ lbs myself using the same Fuel-First Method I build into every program: real food first, not willpower. That's not a sales pitch. It's why I became a Registered Dietitian in the first place.
Common questions
No. Autoimmune conditions vary a lot, and so do triggers. I don't hand out a generic elimination list. We find what's actually relevant to you.
It's a structured elimination-and-reintroduction approach. I use it selectively, when it fits your specific situation, not as a default starting point for everyone.
It helps if you have one, since it shapes the plan. But it's not required to book a session.
It can support energy and general wellbeing during a flare, but it isn't a treatment for the underlying condition. That stays with your specialist.
I don't contact them directly, but I'm happy to give you notes to share, and I'll always work within any guidance they've given you.
General anti-inflammatory eating patterns, like more fiber, omega-3s, and whole foods, have real evidence behind them for overall inflammation. What doesn't have strong evidence is most of the specific "autoimmune diet" lists circulating online, which is why I build from what's actually known, not a trend.
